Dear Members of the George Washington University Community,

As our fall semester comes to a close and we prepare to welcome 2025, I am filled with profound gratitude for our incredible GW family. Every day, I am inspired by the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni, who continue to demonstrate what makes our university truly special. Thank you for all you have done to make 2024 meaningful and impactful.

The past year has brought challenges and opportunities that have tested and strengthened us. Through it all, you have shown remarkable resilience, engagement, and commitment to our shared missions of research, education, patient care, and service. As we look toward the promise of a new year, I am excited about the work ahead, including developing our strategic framework, which will help chart GW's course in its third century.

On behalf of the entire George Washington University, Sonya and I wish you and your loved ones a safe and joyful holiday season. May the new year bring renewed energy and enthusiasm to our campuses as we continue to raise high together.

Happy holidays and Happy New Year!

Warm regards,

Ellen M. Granberg

President
