Dear Members of the George Washington University Community,
As this academic year draws to a close, I invite you to take a moment to reflect with me on what we’ve accomplished together as OneGW.
This has been a year of milestones, from drafting our GW Strategic Framework to launching the university-wide research showcase InnovationFest, from hosting the Second in Command VEEP podcast to the Class of 2025 celebrating Commencement on the National Mall. While some of our accomplishments have been highly visible, others are less prominent but no less meaningful. Across our campuses, in our classrooms, labs, studios, clinics, and communities, you’ve brought our mission to life with dedication, creativity, and care.
This video captures just a glimpse of the momentum we’ve built—momentum that continues to carry us forward. It’s a celebration of you: our students, faculty, staff, alumni, families and partners, whose talent and energy make this university’s heart beat loudly here in the nation’s capital.
As I approach my second anniversary as GW president, I’ve never been more proud—or more hopeful—about the university’s direction and future. Thank you for everything you’ve contributed to this extraordinary year and thank you for continuing to Raise High!
