In a speech to approximately 100 Rotarians at the University Club on 16th Street Wednesday, George Washington President Steven Knapp emphasized the university’s commitments to research and job creation within the District of Columbia.

George Washington University President Steven Knapp spoke at the Rotary Club of Washington, D.C. He discussed the university's ongoing commitment to building and maintaining strong relationships within the community, as well as GW's efforts to bolster the District's continued growth, prosperity and progress. President Knapp also spoke to the university's current service and academic initiatives. Davis Kennedy, publisher of the Northwest Current Newspapers, offered opening remarks. GW is celebrating 100 years at its Foggy Bottom location this year.
